The brooder base tier consists of:
- Easy to assemble brooder cage suited for 25-30 chicks
- Fully equipped drinking system with two drinking cups with the necessary connectors, pipes and water reservoir
- Deep, easily removable feeding trough with grill to avoid feed waste
- Easy to clean manure tray
- Two starter drinkers
- Two starter feeders
- 2 non-slip chick floors to avoid sprayed legs in chicks in the first 3 days of their lives
- Independent automatic 125W heating module with 0-40C temperature regulator – can be easily removed for easy cleaning of the cage

- Heating pipe is fully protected so the chicks cannot touch the heating pipe
- E27 light bulb fitting is incorporated into the heating module
